This is the value tool to use whenever you select fabrics for a quilt. Place the tool up to your eye
and look through it. The red filter is used with warm colors. The green filter is used with cool colors.
This "removes" much of the color of the fabrics and you can see the value of the fabric. It helps you to
select the right colors for your project and to determine the light or dark value of materials.
