The artwork in this collection was created by hand, during the long days of Spring, 2020.  Heather had moved with her family to the Catskill Mountains and was recovering from covid. She had not yet shut her studio in Manhattan, thinking that she would return imminently, and had none of her digital drawing tools or equipment with her.

Heather had been considering the idea of creating a fabric collection with hand inked and painted artwork for some time.  She was interested in the idea that advances in digitally printed fabric meant that she was not limited to working with solid masses of color. Plot twist! Technology was giving her the opportunity to work by hand!
