Following the vintage patchwork lead from the Piecework collection, I designed this
sampler style quilt as an album of favorite traditional blocks.
It is a wonderful way to stretch your patchwork muscles if it has been a while or revisit some straightforward block building if your projects have been tedious lately.
The bold solid colors used highlight the various shapes of each block while the small-scale prints provide some detail and texture.
This is an opportunity to combine fabrics (or scraps) a different way for every block so that the only challenge in the making is to imbue the quilt with exciting variety.
Made using fabrics from Anna Maria's Pecework fabric line from Anna Maria Textiles.
