"Seasonal Courier: Blackbird's Autumn" is a cross stitch pattern of an alert blackbird sitting upon his favorite pumpkin.
The bird celebrates the Fall season with leaves and blooms and pumpkins of various sizes.
Top and bottom borders bring in added decoration and color and shapes reminiscent of quilt blocks.
Blackbird's Autumn is the third in a series of four Seasonal Courier birds.
Stitch Count: 66 wide x 95 high
The cross stitch finishes on 14 count Aida or 28 count Evenweave at approx 5 x 7"
(5 1/2 x 7 3/4" for 25 count Lugana)
Model is stitched on Prim 25 count Lugana Vintage Cross Stitch Cloth from Lori Holt for Zweigart
#VC25-Prim white using two strands of DMC floss (over two threads).
The mounted cross stitch is floated on Thatched Citrus 48626-123
from Robin Pickens for Moda Fabrics in a 8 3/4" x 10 3/4" frame.
