Quilting Services

The Quilter's Lodge offers:
Edge to Edge Quilting - Full custom quilting - Quilt Your Own!

We quilt all shapes and sizes from baby quilts to wall hangings. We take great pride in matching the quilting to your quilt. Our goal is to compliment your creation. If you have a design in mind we can quilt it or you can select quilter's choice (of course providing your input and direction)

         Restorations too!

If you have found bits and blocks of grandma's quilting in the attic, let us help you turn it into something your family will treasure for generations! We can help you showcase your family heirlooms by adding sashing and borders to turn it into a usable quilt.

Quilting Services FAQ

Can you quilt my quilt for me?
Yes! We offer Edge to Edge and Custom Quilting.

How much do you charge for your quilting?
The base price for edge to edge quilting is $0.025 per square inch and goes up from there depending on the complexity and the density of the quilting.

What is the the time frame for completion of a quilt?
It typically takes 2-3 weeks to quilt your quilt. Rush service is available if needed.

Can you accommodate rush orders?
Yes we can! 3 day service is available for an extra $40 and one week service is an extra $25.

How should I prepare my top and backing for quilting?
Your quilt top should have all seams pressed and the threads trimmed. The backing needs to be a minimum of 3 inches bigger than the top on all sides. If the backing has any seams those should be pressed as well and indicate whether you want your seams to be vertical or horizontal.

How do you decide how to quilt a top?
You have as much say in the quilting as you would like. If you want to leave it up to us, we will ask you some questions to figure out what will work best for you, such as: How much quilting do you like on a quilt? What areas do you want the focus to be on? What designs do you NOT like? What color thread do you want used? What do you plan to use the quilt for (lots of wear and tear or as a display)?
