Job Overview:

• Greet and provide exceptional customer service
• Provide assistance with selecting fabric colors and prints
• Provide assistance with pattern instructions
• Calculate quilt binding
• Cut fabric for customers
• Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Cut and restock fat quarters
• Cut fat quarters and prepare new fabric lines to go to the sales floor
• Help create and maintain merchandise displays
• Re-stock shelves with fabric, kits, notions and gift items
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor including light cleaning and dusting
• Be able to problem solve for customer needs
• Active listening, kindness and patience for customers and team members
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
• Clear communication, share and receive feedback
• Be open minded and willing to grow and learn

Job Requirements:

• Cutting - Using rotary blade and guide rulers for straight cuts.
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Be on feet during work shift
• Learn Rain Point of Sale Program
• Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
• Learn or have knowledge of fabric lines, notions, manufacturers and designers
• Learn or have knowledge of quilter’s math
• Flexible to Change
• Communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Lift 30 pounds
• Vacuuming, Shoveling Snow, Sweeping, Garbage/Recycler

• Work at least 24 hours per week
• Work some weekends and some evenings
• Store Hours Mon - Sat 10am -6pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am - 8pm, Closed Sunday
