The Production Manager will oversee the production team members' hiring, scheduling, and training as they work side by side with team members. The Production Manager will oversee the production of quilt kits, Block of the Month kits, and class kits, including cut guides, getting them to the sales floor, as well as listed online in the point of sale program.

Job Requirements

Using quilt math, create cut guides for quilt kits

Verify pattern accuracy and update as needed

Create supplemental instructions for quilt kits

Create and establish 3–6 month outlook for quilt kits, block of the month kits and store sample quilts to be sold in store and online

Oversee ordering of needed kit components

Learn Like Sew / Rain Program (point-of-sale program) and Stamps.com (shipping)

Basic knowledge of fabric lines, notions, designers, and manufacturers

Photography on cell phone for presentation of products online

Creative writing, combining the manufacturers fabric and pattern descriptions to more accurately describe and entice customers to purchase our quilt kits.

Willingness to learn skills to improve job performance

Additional duties as needed to aid production department
