Job Overview
- Greet and provide exceptional customer service
- Provide assistance with selecting fabric colors and prints
- Provide assistance with pattern instructions
- Calculate quilt binding
- Cut fabric for customers
- Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Cut and restock fat quarters
- Cut fat quarters and prepare new fabric lines to go to the sales floor
- Help create and maintain merchandise displays
- Re-stock shelves with fabric, kits, notions and gift items
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor including light cleaning and dusting
- Be able to problem solve for customer needs
- Active listening, kindness and patience for customers and team members
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Clear communication, share and receive feedback
- Be open minded and willing to grow and learn

Job Requirements
- Cutting - Using rotary blade and guide rulers for straight cuts.
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Be on feet during work shift
- Learn Rain Point of Sale Program
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- Learn or have knowledge of fabric lines, notions, manufacturers and designers
- Learn or have knowledge of quilter’s math
- Flexible to Change
- Communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Lift 30 pounds
- Vacuuming, Shoveling Snow, Sweeping, Garbage/Recycle
Job Type
- Work at least 20 hours per week
- Work some weekends and some nights
- Store Hours Mon - Sat 10am -6pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am - 8pm, Closed Sunday
