Free Spirits Block of the Month Club

In this block of the month club, we will be making a diagonal row quilt, which by December, will be your own unique creation. Each month you will be taught a block or technique that can be created with several different methods.
As the club progresses, you create your own quilt - one row at a time.
Classes will be in a lecture/demo format with patterns and ideas provided and new techniques taught every month. Sewing will be done on your own, so you won’t need to bring your sewing machine to class. Choose the size and style that you’d like to make, and Andrea and Florence will guide you through designing, planning and constructing a quilt that you will love!

Andrea Bair has been quilting for 28 years and enjoys the entire process of making a quilt, especially choosing fabrics. While she appreciates all colors and categories of fabric, her heart gravitates towards bright, more modern fabrics. Most of Andrea’s quilts contain at least some applique, as she enjoys the serenity and beauty of handwork. Some sort of applique project is always ready to go on any trip. In 2020, Andrea was fortunate to design a quilt pattern with the fabulous Jen Kingwell called Boho Heart. Getting to work with someone as creative as Jen was truly and amazing experience!
In her professional life, Andrea is a Meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
