My Blue Halo - Two-Day Workshop - with Cami Stringham - Jan 28 & Feb 1, 2025

Join our instructor Cami Stingham for our two-part My Blue Halo class.

The Halo quilt is a long-time favorite one-block quilt from the Jen Kingwell.

In the first night of our class, students will learn to use acrylic templates to their best advantage and we will begin cutting out our fabrics. Students will learn how to cut fabric for curved piecing, as well as cutting with as little waste as possible.

The Quilter's Lodge has a kit available for this class. Students are also welcome to add their own fabrics to this project. Halo is perfect for scrap-busting!

Our second class will be a sewing Saturday from 10:30 am to 5 pm. 

Together we will conquer curves and demystify just what makes Jen Kingwell's quilt patterns so appealing to makers worldwide!

• Sewing Tools:
  Sewing Machine, foot pedal and power cord - (Please be familiar with your sewing machine, we can possibly offer suggestions but we do not know the details of how all the different brands of sewing machines operate)
• 1/4” foot or 1/4” guide

Cami Stringham has been quilting for 10+ years.  Cami has been with The Quilter's Lodge for over six years and is the Assistant Manager. She has designed countess quilt samples and teaches many classes.  Cami's classes include Comprehensive Beginning Quilting, Beginning Quilting 2.0, Foundation Paper Piecing, numerous Rope Bowl Workshops and many others. Cami is one of The Quilter’s Lodge Sample Makers, you can see her excellent work throughout the store. She loves scrappy projects that can use up every tiny bit of fabric.  Her fabric favorites include Alison Glass, Ruby Star Society, and Jen Kingwell, Tula Pink and quirky low volume prints.
