Mary Turney has been sewing for over 45 years and quilting for 5 years. She has taught sewing classes to both adults and children. Mary is the Event Director for the The Quilter’s Lodge and oversees all of the quilt samples, coordinates the efforts of The Quilter’s Lodge Sample Makers, as well as making sample quilts for the store. She enjoys foundation paper piecing, both traditional and modern quilts, and learning new techniques. Mary's newest quilting interests include landscape quilting, rescuing old quilts and upcycling them into wearable works of art.
