Landscape quilt wall hanging
Learn how to make a unique and entirely customizable 18" x 21" landscape wall quilt using raw edge applique. Using the pattern provided and your custom color choices, a beautiful wall hanging is just a class away. Class starts with choosing your color palette, construction of the landscape scene, machine quilting, and finally binding. Pattern will be provided.
Class Supplies:

- 5 fat quarters for background and mountains
- 1 fat eighth for sun
- 1/4 yard for binding
- 24" x 30" scrap of batting
- 5/8 yard backing

- Sewing Machine, foot pedal and power cord - (Please be familiar with your sewing machine, we can possibly offer suggestions but we do not know the details of how all the different brands of sewing machines operate)
- 1/4” foot or 1/4” guide
- Coordinating Thread
- Microtex 80/12 Sewing Machine Needles

Mary Turney has been sewing for over 45 years and quilting for 5 years. She has taught sewing classes to both adults and children. Mary is the Event Director for the The Quilter’s Lodge and oversees all of the quilt samples, coordinates the efforts of The Quilter’s Lodge Sample Makers as well as making sample quilts for the store. She enjoys foundation paper piecing, both traditional and modern quilts, and learning new techniques. Mary's newest quilting interests include landscape quilting and rescuing old quilts and upcycling them into wearable works of art.
