Christmas Tree Skirt Class

Find your favorite Christmas fabric in our many varied Christmas collections.  From traditional Christmas colors to modern festive hues, we have your Christmas decor covered.  In this class, you will learn the quilt as you go method while creating your Star Burst tree skirt.
Class will begin with instruction, followed by plenty of time to piece your skirt.  Feel free to bring a lunch or visit one of the many nearby restaurants in Draper.

Mary Turney has been sewing for over 45 years and quilting for 5 years.  She has taught sewing classes to both adults and children.  Mary is the Event Director for the The Quilter’s Lodge and oversees all of the quilt samples, coordinates the efforts of  The Quilter’s Lodge Sample Makers as well as making sample quilts for the store.  She enjoys foundation paper piecing, both traditional and modern quilts, and learning new techniques.  Mary's newest quilting interests include landscape quilting and rescuing old quilts and upcycling them into wearable works of art.
