Please pick up your kit in advance to ensure you have time to cut your fabric prior to the class date. 

In the sew along class, you will learn how to arrange your fabric to achieve an easy scrappy look. Cutting your fabric ahead of time will allow for a fast finish during the sew along. You will likely leave class with a completed top, just in time for quilting and ready for Halloween. Class will begin with instruction, allow for design time, a lunch break (lunch not included) and plenty of time for piecing the top.

Mary Turney has been sewing for over 45 years and quilting for 5 years.  She has taught sewing classes to both adults and children.  Mary is the Event Director for the The Quilter’s Lodge and oversees all of the quilt samples, coordinates the efforts of  The Quilter’s Lodge Sample Makers as well as making sample quilts for the store.  She enjoys foundation paper piecing, both traditional and modern quilts, and learning new techniques.  Mary's newest quilting interests include landscape quilting and rescuing old quilts and upcycling them into wearable works of art.
