Cody Mazuran will be teaching you how to English Paper Piece as you are making a Hexi Pincushion.

Supply List
10-12 pressed cotton fabrics (approx 5" x 5") a variety of colors and values, dense, small prints
Small fabric scissors, your favorite
Several neutral, fine threads or colors to blend with your fabric squares
White thread for basting*
Milliner’s needles Size 9
A package of 1/2" Hexagon Precut Ppers for English Paper Piecing (EPP)
Basic Sewing Kit - Pins, Scissors, Thimble, etc.

*NOTE: The instructor will demo glue basting but recommends
thread basting. We will end our class together with a brief
trunk show demonstrating what you can do with Hexies.
Then the cherry on top will be a free pattern for a

darling pin cushion to display your classwork and favorite
decorative pins,if you wish.

Instructor Bio:	Cody Marie Mazuran holds a degree in secondary education from Brigham Young University, has taught in the public schools and developed a business to publish her books and quilt patterns. Her book, A Fine Finish, was a national best seller and many of her quilts have been awarded blue ribbons. Cody does volunteer work raising funds for medical research and education. While she is passionate about quilt making, she has taught most of her 17 delightful grandchildren piano lessons and the girls leave sweet notes in her sewing room while she is not looking.
