Advanced Quilting Techniques - with Mary Cowan - 2022 - 2023
Mary will be teaching from the pattern A Very Coriander Christmas by Corey Yoder.
With Mary you will learn to choose your own fabric with confidence as well as learning new and advanced piecing techniques. This class is for the confident beginner to the experienced quilter.
This hands on class meets the 3rd Thursday of each month
6:00pm - 8:30pm. - Cost $20.00 per month
(cards processed between the 1st & 5th day of each month)

- Fabric requirements will be determined in class
- Sewing Machine, foot pedal and power cord
- 1/4” foot or tape to mark a 1/4” guide line on the machine
- Basic Sewing Supplies
- Shared Cutting Mats and Irons are supplied by The Lodge
- An attitude ready to have fun and learn new things!!

Mary Cowan began quilting about 27 years ago when her husband bought her the book Quilts, Quilts, Quilts. Her love for fabric, sewing and quilting, along with her quest for all the latest greatest patterns has evolved over the years into designing her own patterns. Mary has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in graphic design from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Her pattern company, Mary’s Cottage Quilts is named after a family owned cottage in upstate New York.
